September 29, Tuesday, 7 p.m. Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

A heartwarming novel about a mysterious stranger whose acts of kindness transform a small Southern town.

 October 6, Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. Amy Frykholm, award-winning writer, scholar, and journalist will speak at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. This event, sponsored by Augustana Library Associates, is open to the public. Hope’s Book Club plans to attend.

 November 3, 7 p.m. A Biography of a Mountain by Matthew Davis

This year’s One Book South Dakota explores the myths & history of Mt. Rushmore.

December 1, 2 p.m. The Ride of Her Life by Elizabeth Letts

The true story of a woman, her horse, & their last-chance journey across America.

January 5, 2 p.m. Book to be chosen.

 February 2, 2 p.m. The Secret Book of Flora Lea by Patti Callahan Henry

Novel that combines historical fact with fiction, mystery with fairy tales.

 March 2, 7 p.m. Book to be chosen.

 April 6, 7 p.m. Hail, Mary by Andy Weir

A science fiction novel centered on a school teacher turned astronaut who embarks on a desperate mission to save humanity.

 May 4, 7 p.m. White Hawk by Greg Redlin

True story of an accused indigenous man and his trial in the Midwest-1967.
