HopeCare Happenings
We are one month into SummerCare and its safe to say the field trips have been a hit! June’s focus was on the “great outdoors.” Not the movie, but the laughs and fun have ran parallel. Playing at the park, swimming at the pools, learning about plant life at the Mary Jo Wagner Aboretum, visiting the Butterfly House, enjoying adventures at the Outdoor Campus and getting our skate on at Skate City have kept us fully occupied and strengthening our minds.
Of most excitement for our little tykes was the big move to a new room for our Blooms. The extra space and bright lighting are a great enhancement to our learning.
We were thrilled to launch Food Truck Wednesday. Each week Hope Lutheran plays host to a local food truck. Our staff, church members and others have had the privilege of taking in the flavorful cuisine. We invite all to partake in this delicious community event. Follow our Facebook page for more information.
July brings about another round of thrilling field trips. Be sure to check the July calendar on our website! HopeCare will also be collaborating with Hope Lutheran’s mission committee to raise funds in support of Church on the Street’s “Laundry of Love” program. Each room will compete to bring in the most funds with winning team being awarded a root beer float party. Stay tuned for more information!
