Day 23

I love crafting. It is born in me and I am happy when I am crafting. When I am in the dumps, if I do some crafting, it lifts me up! I like to recycle things so that there is less waste.

Way before the Hope Bazaar started, a former member, Nancy Coleman, got a group of the stay home mothers to church to work on our crafting things together. I might bring a dress that I was sewing, another brought their crocheting. Then we thought why not make things to sell? The quilters also saw this as something that they could add to. I still make crafts today. It is a wonderful outlet. I love giving homemade gifts at Christmas.
