HopeCare Happenings

Here at HopeCare, we have been very excited for the mild weather to start the year. Our Preschool and PreK children have been able to play outside in the snow. They love to use sleds and build snow structures outside. We also have been going for walks through the neighborhood to see decorations on the houses. Our School-Age program has been able to get out and play in the snow in.the same way that our Preschool and PreK program has. During the schools’ winter break, we even went sledding at Spellerberg Park. We took a field trip to Skate City and had a blast. We have been enjoying the mild winter weather.

This month we said goodbye to two of our regular teachers that have been with us since this summer. Both Kim Stroud and Keanna Steinmetz have been valuable members of our staff and we wish them well. We also welcome Marilyn Stach to our staff for the winter. We are excited for Marilyn to be here.

HopeCare has been continuing to have chapel on Wednesdays, lead by Vicar Corey in the church Sanctuary. We will sometimes change locations in bad weather, but we will always have chapel in some form. The children have loved teaching Vicar Corey how our chapel service is supposed to go.
