HopeCare Happenings

Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Our community has been faced with a great challenge. During the month of March, we have all been presented with one of the greatest hardships of this generation. With the Coronavirus infection in our state, local and state leaders have made some difficult decisions to close schools and make recommendations for other businesses to close. HopeCare has decided to remain open as long as that is possible. Ultimately, we can do this as long as our staff and our HopeCare community remain healthy.

A licensed childcare center in South Dakota has a strict health code that must be followed to prevent all kinds of outbreaks. We regularly sanitize toys, dining surfaces and other frequently-used surfaces, such as doorknobs. We have also asked parents/guardians to pick up in designated areas so that there is little contact between our classrooms and the outside world.

I would like to thank everyone in the community for their continued prayers throughout this difficult time.

With hope and gratitude,

Matt Krohse
