HopeCare Happenings

HopeCare enjoyed the HOT weather this summer and is looking forward to the cool fall air. Thankfully we have remained healthy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic thus far. At this time, we have not had any cases of the virus. Teachers have been diligently cleaning toys and surfaces, ensuring that children wash their hands, and have implemented other healthy practices to keep our center safe.

The School Age summer program looked different this year, but still included a variety of adventures. The kids expanded their horizons at 605 Ninja Academy, the Great Plains Zoo, and Eastway Bowl. Much time has been spent enjoying the outdoors, too, with visits to Sertoma Park, Riverdale Park, Cherry Rock Park, McKennan Park, and others. We did our best to stay healthy and active this summer.

As we come to a conclusion of our summer program, we thank Kate Wynja for being a dedicated summer staff member. We wish her well at college, and hope that she will return to us in the future. With the new school year, Maci Puepke returns to the school age program as an assistant teacher. Welcome back Maci!

With Hope and Gratitude,
