HopeCare Happenings
HopeCare is trying our best to stay cool through the HOT weather. Although we haven’t been able to go swimming at the pools we have made use of sprinklers and other water activities at HopeCare. We are grateful to have remained healthy throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have currently not been associated with any cases of the virus. Teachers have been diligently cleaning toys and surfaces, ensuring that children wash their hands, and other healthy practices to keep our center safe.
The School Age summer program has been able to go on many different field trips this year. We have gone to 605 Ninja Academy, the Great Plains Zoo, and most recently, Wild Water West. They have also gone hiking at Good Earth and other parks around town. We are doing our best to stay healthy and active this summer.
We thank Andrew Breitzman and Anna Galpin for their dedication to Hope Care’s summer program. Andrew has been with us the past three summers, and had his last day in July as he prepares to teach full time. Anna has been with us for one year, and will be working with animals instead of children at her new position at PetSmart. Thank you Andrew and Anna! We also welcome three new teachers. Kate Wynja is a seasonal summer teacher who began earlier this month, and will go back to college in the fall. Keanna Steinmitz and Kim Stroud are both new this month as full-time staff members who will float between classrooms.
With Hope and Gratitude,
Matt Krohse
