HopeCare Happenings
The past few months have flown by. We have made it to summer time, and fortunately, this means we can spend much more time outdoors.
I would like to share a special thank you to our volunteers who helped take down the old play system on the north side of the Sherman building. A new one was installed April 27, and the kids are enjoying it!
This summer, things will be quite different with our summer program. The pools are closed and many businesses are not allowing large groups of visitors. This has created quite the challenge for keeping our kids busy, but we are planning exciting activities for the summer program kids every day. We will ultimately rely on our own center for much of this, but we be able to attend some field trips in smaller groups. We strive to be active this summer while still taking appropriate measures to stay healthy.
Special congratulations are in order for the Abrahamson family. Amber has been with HopeCare for nearly 7 years now, and recently welcomed her second child to the family. Anaya Abrahamson was born May 15. Congratulations!
I would like to thank everyone in our community for their continued support and prayers throughout these unprecedented times.
With Hope and Gratitude,
Matt Krohse
